Transfer By-Law Temporarily Deleted
The State Executive Committee voted at the fall meeting on September 15, 2014 to temporarily delete By-Law 1.62 (b) on page 19 of the 2014-15 Constitution. This by-law, concerning transfer students, is NOT VALID at this time and will not be considered in ruling a student in this situation eligible.

Error in Printed Version of 2014-15 Constitution
Persons who may have access to the printed version of the 2014-15 GHSA Constitution should be aware of the fact an error is contained on Page 20. The new item 1.62 (h)  (“Students who are U.S. citizens who have been enrolled in a high school in a foreign country … and other eligibility rules.”) was NOT adopted by the State Executive Committee. That item was TABLED but was inadvertently included in the printed version of the constitution. The online version of the constitution is correct. The item in question will be addressed again at the spring meeting of the State Executive Committee and could be passed at that time.
