Please Note: The GHSA advertises these contests as a courtesy for our member schools. However, these tournaments may not be approved or sanctioned by the GHSA. Member schools need to check the Sanctioned Events page to make sure a contest is sanctioned by the GHSA before participating in any event.
BASEBALL
Chattanooga Central High School is having the 5th annual Central Invitational Baseball Tournament March 31 - April 3, 2010. There will be 4 games gauranteed with a championship game. Mainland High School is hosting a Spring Break Varsity Baseball Tournament on March 29-31, 2010 in Daytona Beach, FL. Double Elimination - $125.00 entry fee - a dozen baseballs. Contact Michael Burton at 386-258-4665 x54244.
BASKETBALL
Bluffton High School in Bluffton, SC, is looking for Boys and Girls Basketball teams to compete in a tournament to be held December 28-30, 2009. Guaranteed three games, team shirts, and a coupon booklet for food and entertainment. Will be sanctioned by the NFHS. $100.00 entry fee. Byrnes High School is hosting a Christmas tournament on December 18th and 19th for C or B Boys Basketball teams (9th grade). Each team is guaranteed one game in pool play on Friday (18th) and at least one game in tournament play on Saturday (19th). The cost for each team is $100. Charlotte High School is looking for competitive teams to participate in the 6th Annual Gene Gorman Turkey Shootout on November 27-28 in Punta Gorda, FL. The format will be 2 8-team tournaments. Dunnellon High School, Dunnellon, FL - Tigers Thanksgiving Tournament (8 teams total: 4 Boys & 4 Girls). The tournament dates are November 28 & 29 and the entry fee is $200. The Westminster Schools has one, possibly two, openings on the GIRLS side of its Holiday Basketball Tournament. There are eight girls teams in the field. Each team is guarenteed three (3) games. The dates are Mon, Tue., and Wed. Dec. 28th, 29th, and 30th, 2009. The entry fee is $350 per team. The fee includes all-tournament team selection and t-shirts for all players and coaches. North Florida Christian High School in Tallahassee, FL is seeking varsity football games on the following dates Sept. 4, Oct. 16. Nov. 13. We have 220 students’ grades 9-12. We are open for home and away games. If you are interested in coming to Tallahassee, we will help defray the cost.

The 2010 Norcross Blue Devil Invitational will be held March 19-20, 2010, in Norcross, GA. This is a high school tournament for both boys and girls varsity teams. Venues include Norcross High School Stadium, and Atlanta Silverbacks Park home of the USL Atlanta Silverbacks. Each team is guaranteed 3 matches (1 Friday & 2 on Saturday). SOFTBALL
Laney High School of Augusta, GA needs two more teams to fill a softball tournament scheduled for August 14-15, 2009 at the Laney Sports Complex. WRESTLING
Cherokee High School in Western North Carolina is hosting a wrestling tournament December 22nd and 23rd, 2009. It will be a 32 Man individual tournament and will host teams from NC, SC, GA & TN. Scottsboro High School in Scottsboro, AL is hosting a pre-season dual tournament consisting of ten (10) teams with all teams receiving five (5) matches on Saturday, November 21, 2009.
