Clearing Browser Cache

If you're experiencing issues on our site, you may be able to resolve the matter by clearing your cache. Here are steps to clear the browser cache on some common browsers.

To find out how to clear the cache, click your browser:

Clearing the cache in Internet Explorer 9

  1. From the "Tools" menu or icon, click "Internet Options".
  2. Under the General Tab, Browsing history, click Delete...
  3. Check Temporary Internet files, and then click Delete.

  1. From the "Safety" menu, click "Delete Browsing History...".
  2. Check Temporary Internet files and History, and then click Delete.

  1. From the "Tools" menu, click "Internet Options".
  2. Click the "General" tab if it isn't selected already.
  3. Click the "Delete" button.
  4. Under the heading "Temporary Internet files," click "Delete Files".
  5. Click "OK" to exit.

  1. From the "Tools" menu, select "Clear Recent History...".
  2. From the "Time range to clear:" drop-down menu, select the desired range; to clear your entire cache, select "Everything".
  3. Click the down arrow next to "Details" to choose what history elements to clear. Click "Clear Now".

Clearing the cache in Firefox 3

  1. From the "Tools" menu, select "Clear Private Data...".
  2. Make sure "Cache" is checked. Click "Clear Private Data Now".

Clearing the cache in Firefox 2

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox and click on the "Tools" menu.
  2. Select "Options" then "Advanced". (top right)
  3. Click the "Network" tab.
  4. Under the "Cache" heading, click the "Clear Now" button.
  5. Click "OK" to exit.

Clearing the cache in Firefox 1.x

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox on the "Tools" menu.
  2. Select "Options" then the "Privacy" icon.
  3. Click "Clear" across from the Cache option.
  4. Click "OK" to exit.

Clearing the cache in Safari

  1. From the Safari menu, click "Empty Cache".
  2. When asked "Are you sure you want to empty the cache?", click "Empty".
  3. Click "Done".

Clearing the cache in Google Chrome

  1. Click the "Customize and Control Google Chrome" menu button (the icon looks like a wrench).
  2. Click "Clear browsing data...".
  3. Ensure that the "Empty the cache" checkbox is checked and select "Everything" from Clear data from this period.
  4. Click "Clear Browsing Data".
