The second GHSA Bass Fishing Qualifying Tournament was held February 13 at West Point Lake in Lagrange with 139 two-person teams/boats registered.
Matthew Gunn and Robert Miller from Savannah Christian won with five (5) bass that weighed a total of 17.4 pounds and a total of 18 two-person teams/boats qualified for the state championship to be held on Lake Lanier on May 8.
There are two more qualifying tournaments for student anglers to qualify for the state championship:
March 20 - Lake Oconee
Aprril 10 - Lake Hartwell
