Advancement
Competition will be conducted for each region in all classifications for non co-ed teams. Advancement to the State Competition will be as follows:

All first place teams in each Classification automatically advance to State Finals.

Second, third, and fourth place teams in all Classifications will advance to the Sectional Competitions to be held the day prior to Finals at the same site. Eight teams from each Classification advance to the Finals.

Coed: A Sectional Tourmament will be held for all Coed Teams at one site on the same date as Region for the non coed teams. The top sixteen (16) teams will advance to the State Competition. (Note: These plans are contingent on the number of coed teams entered. There must be at least 16 teams in order to have a State Championship.)

The GHSA Office will set sites and assign judges associations for each Region Competition site. Five Routine Judges and two Restriction Judges will be required at all competitions. Host site is to secure impartial scorers and timer. Format of the region competition will be determined by the number of regions and teams assigned to the site and will be set by the host director. (Note: Regions with only one team competing will not participate in Region competition.)
