Completion and submission of all golf rosters for the 2012 season are due by 4:00pm on April 17, 2012. Schools submitting rosters after that day will be subject to fines.
In order to facilitate and more accurately report region and state golf competition results, the GHSA has established a new procedure for reporting golf team rosters. We have created a roster form on the GHSA website that will be used to report golf team rosters instead of the paper forms used in the past.
We are asking that each school authorize a representative that will be responsible for reporting an accurate roster of the school's golf teams - boys and girls. This may be one individual for boys and girls or you may select a different individual for each. If the individual(s) from last year will be reporting the rosters this year, those users can proceed to update the roster for this year - they do not need to email us to get access for this year.
If new individuals will be reporting your roster(s), we will need to give each individual that will be reporting rosters a username and password to log in to the GHSA website. Reporting rosters will be a restricted to authorized users only. Member schools will also be unable to access another school's rosters.
To get a username and password for each individual that will be reporting rosters, have each of them go to the GHSA website (www.ghsa.net) and click on the Register link at the upper right corner of the home page. You will then be presented with a registration page. Enter a username, email address, your full name, and your athletic title and click the Create New Account button. At that time, if everything is OK, the system will send an email to your email address with your password and a link that you must use in order to validate your account. Once you receive this email, you can either login with your username and the supplied password (using the Login link at the upper right corner of the GHSA home page), or preferably click the one-time link contained in the email. After this is done, you will be given a page where you can change your password to one you can easily remember. You will use this username and password to login to the GHSA website.
Once you have gotten your username and password, please email webmaster@ghsa.net and let us know what your username is, your school, and which roster you will be reporting (boys golf, girls golf, or both). Please do not send your account password. We will then give you access to the roster form and send you some instructions on entering rosters.
You will not get access to the form by just registering - you must contact us in order to get access.
