Please Note: The GHSA advertises these contests as a courtesy for our member schools. However, these tournaments may not be approved or sanctioned by the GHSA. Member schools need to check the Sanctioned Events page to make sure a contest is sanctioned by the GHSA before participating in any event.
BASEBALL
Chattanooga Central High School is having the 5th annual Central Invitational Baseball Tournament March 31 - April 3, 2010. There will be 4 games gauranteed with a championship game. Mainland High School is hosting a Spring Break Varsity Baseball Tournament on March 29-31, 2010 in Daytona Beach, FL. Double Elimination - $125.00 entry fee - a dozen baseballs. Contact Michael Burton at 386-258-4665 x54244.

Chattahoochee High School is hosting the 3rd Annual Hooch Holiday Classic on Dec 27,28, 29. Guaranteed 3 games. Champion, Runner up, and All Tournament team will receive trophies and plaques. Entry fee is $300. Please contact herricke@fultonschools.org for more info.
Hilton Head Island High School in SC is looking for boys and girls teams to attend the Hilton Oceanfront Resort Seahawk Holiday Basketball Classic on 12/18, 12/19, and 12/20. Entry fee is $300, which includes 5 hotel rooms at the Hilton Oceanfront Resort. Each team is guaranteed 3 games. Trophies, t-shirts, and all-tourney team awards. The Rock Holiday Classic-Orlando is hosted at FHSAA Member School Windermere Prep School (minutes away from Disney). The 2010 tournament will be held December 28, 29, 30. Features an 8 team boys tournament and an 8 team girls tournament. Guaranteed 3 games and the entry fee is $300.00. Opelika High School, a 6A school in Alabama, is looking for an opponent for Sept. 17, 2010 and Sept. 16, 2011. We would like a 2 year commitment with Home and Home or compensation to come to Opelika twice. Opelika is located right off I-85 about 20 minutes from the Georgia line. Smiths Station High School, a Class 6A school with approximately 1300 students in grades 10 through 12, is looking for an opponent for September 3, 2010 and September 4, 2011. We need a HOME game on September 3, 2010. We are willing to play a Home and Home series for a 2 year contract and we will consider negotiating a compensation package for a school to make two trips to Smiths Station High School. The 2010 Norcross Blue Devil Invitational will be held March 19-20, 2010, in Norcross, GA. This is a high school tournament for both boys and girls varsity teams. Venues include Norcross High School Stadium, and Atlanta Silverbacks Park home of the USL Atlanta Silverbacks. Each team is guaranteed 3 matches (1 Friday & 2 on Saturday).
