AAASP Interscholastic Wheelchair Football State Championships May 7

Interscholastic Wheelchair Football State Championships This Weekend for Varsity and JV Divisions!

Atlanta, May 4, 2022 – The AAASP/GHSA Wheelchair Football State Championships, both JV and Varsity will take place this weekend, Saturday May 7th,  in Clayton County.  Come join adapted sports athletes from across Georgia as they compete for the AAASP/GHSA state title!

Here are the Wheelchair Football Championship Schedules for 5-7:

JV and Varsity Championship Games – hosted by Clayton County Public Schools at:
Mundy’s Mill High School, 9652 Fayetteville Road, Jonesboro, GA  30238.

The AAASP/GHSA Wheelchair Football Regular Season finished up last weekend – here are the end of season standings going into the Championships:

Varsity:
1st place – Houston Sharks
2nd – West Georgia Wolverines
3rd – DeKalb Silver Streaks
4th – Clayton Eagles

Junior Varsity:
1st place – Gwinnett Heat
2nd place - Houston Jr. Sharks
3rd place - Muscogee Lions
