Athletes for a Better WorldAthletes For A Better World (ABW) is an Atlanta-based nonprofit with the mission to create character development curriculum, training programs, and recognition events. The ABW book entitled Winning More Than The Game provides lessons to build character, teamwork, and citizenship though its Code for Living. The Code for Living criteria has been incorporated into the scholarship applications for both the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA), and the Coach Vince Dooley Awards & Scholarships in Georgia. GHSA Retail Licensing ProgramThe Georgia High School Association is a member of the National Federation of High School (NFHS) Licensing Program, which is administered by K12 Licensing. The initiative produces quality, high school apparel and products for store locations throughout Georgia. The licensing program is similar to existing collegiate and professional financial models with high schools receiving an annual royalty payment from local sales of merchandise designated by official NFHS hangtags. Only goods with the NFHS Licensing hangtags and supportive local retailers are part of the program.
