Congratulations to Creekview, who won “if” game over Jefferson 14-3 to take the 2024 GHSA Slow Pitch Softball State Championship presented by Mizuno. Creekview’s last title was in 2019. The eight-team tournament was held April 18-19 at Twin Creeks Park in Woodstock. Competing were: River Ridge Jefferson, Franklin County, Elbert County, Richmond Hill, Cherokee, West Laurens and eventual champion Creekview.
Appreciation to GHSA staff, umpires, Twin Creeks Park, TeamIP, sponsors and all players, coaches and fans that contributed to the event’s success.
