Congratulations to the 2025 Game Day State Championship winners: Toombs County (1A), Columbus (2A), GAC (3A), Cedartown (4A), Lovejoy (5A) and Collins Hill (6A). The competition was held December 3-4 at the Columbus State Center in partnership with Varsity Sprit.
It was a first-time state title for Collins Hill, Lovejoy, GAC and Toombs County in the event’s 7th season.
Teams competed in areas they use to lead a crowd at a game on "Game Day" at a football or basketball game. There are three segments on which they will be judged: cheer, band chant, and fight song. The teams scoring the highest in these three segments were the finalists and then combined all of these areas in an additional three-minute routine.
