The 2026 GHSA / Dr. Lucia Norwood Gymnastics State Championships were hosted on April 22 & 24 at Buford Arena. Congratulation to North Forsyth (5A-6A) and Blessed Trinity (1A-4A), who captured the state titles.
It was a back-to-back win for North Forsyth (112.150), who finished ahead of Buford (109.559), Walton (107.600) and Forsyth Central (104.050).
Blessed Trinity (108.375) captured their first gymnastic state trophy (1A-4A) past Pace Academy (104.350), Union Grove (103.625) and Bremen (101.350).
Big thanks to Buford HS staff for hosting an outstanding meet. Appreciation to GHSA staff, volunteers, judges, sponsors, athletes and fans who supported this event.
