This is a brief reminder about media rights (streaming) for Spring postseason events. We wanted to make sure you have the most accurate information to avoid any media rights violations.
The NFHS Network has exclusive rights to our Association’s postseason events. What that means is the NFHS Network has first rights to stream postseason events.
Stream exclusively on NFHS Network – avoid paying the per game rights fee.
- Use your Pixellot Camera to stream your game to the NFHS Network.
- Produce the game manually with a school broadcast team or local production company, but it must be streamed exclusively on the NFHS Network.
If the NFHS Network declines an event, and you would like to stream the game on another platform (YouTube, Facebook, etc.)
- You must receive approval from the GHSA office.
- Send in a request for a contract to Steve Figueroa (stevefig@ghsa.net) in the GHSA office.
- Pay the per game rights fee to the HOST school.
