The 2026 GHSA Boys/Girls/COED 3-Point Shooting Contest will take place February 7-8 (Prelims), February 21-22 (Semifinals), and March 11-13 (Finals). Complete and submit the registration form below to enter the contest.
CONTEST RULES
- One classification
- Participants must meet all GHSA eligibility requirements
- Co-Ed teams must consist of students from the same school
- Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals awarded
COMPETITION FORMAT
- Each participant receives 90 seconds
- Shooting from four designated locations beyond the 3-point line
- Each rack contains six (6) basketballs
- Each made basket = 1 point
- Final ball on each rack = 3 points
COMPETITION ROUNDS
- Preliminary rounds will be held on February 7-8 at the following sites:
- Lowndes HS - Feb. 7 @ 10:00 AM
- Perry HS - Feb. 7 @ 10:00 AM
- Eagles Landing HS - Feb. 8 @ 2:00 PM
- Dawson County HS - Feb. 8 @ 2:00 PM
- Cherokee HS - Feb. 8 @ 2:00 PM
- Semifinal rounds will be held on February 21-22 at the following sites:
- Perry HS - Feb. 21 @ 10:00 AM
- Eagles Landing HS - Feb. 22 @ 2:00 PM
- River Ridge HS - Feb. 22 @ 2:00 PM
- Final round will be held at the Basketball Finals at the Macon Centreplex
- March 11 - Boys
- March 12 - Girls
- March 13 - Coed
You must bring a signed copy of the Waiver of Liability Form to each round.
