*A – Power Rating after Appeal

APPEALS
1. Irwin Co. appealed based on opponents' wins against Twigg Co., who played a "non-region" schedule.  This
information was forwarded to Max Preps and the Power Points were revised to reflect this issue.

2. Portal issued an appeal that Lanier Co. should be issued a "forfeit" for a game that was cancelled against
Claxton on 4/24.  The game was never played and Lanier Co. attempted to schedule another game that was
also rained out.  The basis for the appeal is that games cancelled within a short period of time should be
counted as a forfeit loss.  Since there no provision for matters of this nature the appeal was denied.

3. Calvary Day School appeals on their power rating number (11.52) includes a game against Excel Christian on
4/8.  After recalculating their points without that game it was revised to (11.69)

4. Commerce issued an appeal that their current rating of (9.08) included calculations of opponents who had
"out of state" games calculated in their points.  After reclaculating their points Commerce was revised to
(8.92).

5. Athens Academy issued an appeal that their current rating of (10.57) included calculations of opponents
had  "non-region schools"  games calculated in their points.  After reclaculating their points Athens Academy
points were revised to (10.48).

6. Lanier Co. issued an appeal based on opponents wins against schools playing "non-region" schedules
(Twiggs Co. and Tallulah Falls).  The points for those schools' opponents have been revised.  They also
appealed that schools had not played a full region schedule (Riverside Military and Greene Co.), and that
games against those school should not be counted.  That appeal was denied.  They also appealed that Athens
Academy had a win against an out of state school count in their power points, which it had not been.

7. Whitefield Academy issued an appeal based on opponents (St. Francis and Mt. Vernon) having been given
credit for wins over two school playing a "non-region schedule (Atl. Jewish Academy and Excel Christian).
The points for all the schools involved were revised.

8. Mount de Sales issued an appeal to change their power rating to (11.12) from (11.14) based on an error in
an opponent's (W. Laurens) win-loss record. After revisions = 10.86
