First and second round games will be played at the #1 seeded team in each four-team quadrant in the bracket. Quarterfinal & Semifinal games will be played at the higher seeded team in each four-team quadrant, or determined by a coin toss, in the event the teams matched up in the quarterfinal & semifinal rounds are of equal seeds. The coin toss will be conducted on Monday, December 1 @ 10:00 AM to determine the host schools. The video of the coin toss will be available on the GHSA web site.

Game Times: Division 1 – December 15 @ 11:00 AM
Division 2 – December 15 @ 1:00 PM
Division 3 – December 16 @ 10:00 AM
Division 4 – December 16 @ 12:00 PM
Division 5 – December 17 @ 11:00 AM
Contest Officials – Contest officials for all rounds of the State Tournament shall be assigned by GHSA Office Girls Flag Football Liaison, James Arnold (footballtraining@comcast.net). It is the responsibility of the host schools to pay officiating game fees for rounds 1 – 4. Championship game fee shall be paid by the GHSA Office.
Host School Responsibilities Rounds 1 - 4:
- A secure dressing area for contest officials
- On site Game Manager & Security
- Correct field marking
- P/A Announcer
- Safety precautions
- Set up GoFan ticketing
- Pay officiating game fees rounds 1-4. (Finals paid by the GHSA Office)
- Submit Financial Reports on the GHSA MIS portal within 72 hours after completion of game(s)
- Submit games results for all games hosted to ery@ghsa.net immediately at the conclusion of play each date.
NOTE: Participating schools are responsible for their own medical training staff
Financial Matters:
- 1st & 2nd round ticket price is $10.00 and only available on GoFan.
- Quarterfinal & Semifinal ticket pricing is $15.00 and only available on GoFan
- Championship ticket price is $23.00 and only available on GoFan
- Host schools should submit a Financial Report on the GHSA MIS portal.
- Regular season “comp” tickets shall not be offered.
- Schools advancing to the State Tournament are required to have the Head Coach and/or Athletic Director on the mandatory Zoom call meeting Monday, December 1 @ 6:00 PM.
NOTE: Teams advancing to the Championship games will be required to attend a pre-event meeting at Mercedes Benz Stadium on Wednesday, December 10 @ 9:00 AM.
