For the first time ever, two all-female officiating crews worked in the GHSA state soccer finals May 2-5. The Boys Class A championship was officiated by a crew consisting of Center referee Kayla Polonsky, Assistant referees Angie Cleland and Lydia Ruiz, and Fourth official Elaine Hutton, while the Girls 5A final had the crew of Center referee Maggie Burkett, Assistant referees Mary Fernandez and Nicki Bunn, and Fourth official Vanessa Rodriguez.
